A synagogue commissioned a piece to bring the Tree of Life symbol to…er…life. I collaborated with a stained glass artist make it happen. The result? This massive glass and steel sculpture for a window in the synagogue’s main hall. We had two objectives. Primarily, it needed to convey strength and inspiration to every member of the congregation. And secondly, it needed to create a beautiful backdrop for those on the bimah. Hopefully, for the Rabbi’s sake, its beauty was more inspiring than distracting.
